We are happy to announce the addition of Marinda Shindler to HBMS, who is just beginning a midwifery apprenticeship. Marinda is a student of the Virginia School of Traditional Midwifery. Marinda will initially serve HBMS clients in the capacity as a pro bono doula and photographer, then quickly progress to assisting both Kim and Glenda in various roles: gopher (a most honorable job!), chart record keeping, set-up & clean-up, clinical assisting, fetal heart tone monitoring, etc. She began attending clinic, full time, in late March.
