Activities to AVOID while
You are Pregnant
These MAY seem obvious to you...
but nevertheless... your Midwives advise you
to AVOID engaging in unhealthy & dangerous activities while you are
pregnant.
Choosing to engage in these & other dangerous activities increases your risk factors and can
harm both
YOUR & YOUR BABY'S health:

- Smoking ANYTHING;
- Caffeine & other stimulants;
- Chemicals, Inhalants, Toxins;
- Drinking ALCOHOLIC beverages (beer, wine, liquor) ;
- Doing recreational, illegal or street drugs;
- OTC (over-the-counter) and/or Rx (prescription) drugs without advice;
- Herbs and herbal products or other treatments or remedies without advice;
- Hot tubs, saunas, stream rms;
- Over-exertion / Excessive or Aggressive Exercise;
- Contact Sports & Upside-down moves or positions;
- Horseback riding, Snow & Water skiing;
- Scuba diving, Para-sailing & Sky-diving;
- Long or extended Periods of Sitting, Standing or Driving;
- Unnecessary or Non-medically indicated Ultrasound Scans & 'Fun' Scans.
- No X-Rays, MRIs, or CT scans unless medically necessary.
