Home Birth/Pregnancy Care Services Include:

Comprehensive Home Birth / Pregnancy Care

• ALL prenatal visits (once/month to 28 wks, twice/month from 28 to 36 wks, and weekly from 36 wks to delivery)
• Nutrition, Wellness & Fitness Counseling
• Family & Sibling Preparation
• Personalized Childbirth Education
• Access to our extensive Lending Library
• Prenatal Home Visits, as needed
• Continuous Labor/Home Birth Care with our Midwifery Team
• Dad/Partner can "catch!" (if so desired)
• Water Birth, if desired
• Immediate Postpartum Follow-up including:
• New Mother & Newborn Exam
• Complete Clean-up
  
• Starting of Birth Laundry
• Meal Preparation for Mom
  
• Birth Certificate and SSN filing
• 6 weeks of Postpartum care (visits at 2, 4 & 6 weeks)

• Lab Work & Ultrasounds
• Newborn Genetic & Hearing Screenings (can be done thru your pediatrician)
  
• Birth Kit (about $40) or Waterbirth Kit (includes Birth Kit & Birth Pool, about $117)
• Additional Medical Supplies
• Insurance Filing Administration Fee (8% of your total reimbursement)
• Travel >45 miles (one time travel fee + $1/mile round trip)
• Water Birth Supplies (see the Water Birth Page for details & info!!)
• Physician's, hospital, anesthesia, lab fees, etc...

Payment plans available & encouraged for those in need.

Call to schedule a Consult, at which we can discuss our services, fees, discount, payment plans, insurance and all other matters regarding your personal needs. The cost of this consult is $50 (cash please), paid at the time of your consult.  This fee defrays the cost of time spent with you to discuss your options, birth plans, and answer your questions and concerns. When you decide to enter into care with the practice, this fee will be credited to your remaining balance!
